Diane Smith's career in the interior design field spans more than a decade in stylish South Florida. Her initial work concentrated on fabrics where Diane excelled in combining and playing off textures and layers of draperies and upholstered furniture to create cohesively designed spaces.

Diane spent over seven years with a Worth Avenue interior design firm in Palm Beach, Florida. During her tenure there she gained invaluable on the job experience working on a variety of projects including kitchen, bath, home, commercial, and retail. She came to understand that no matter how workable on paper, each design must be executed with obsessive attention to detail in order to achieve outstanding results and client satisfaction.

In late 2004 Diane set out on her own, forming Diane Smith Décor, working independently to fully realize the visions of her interior design clients. Design concepts come about as an expression of specific client needs and personal style. As a client of Diane Smith Décor, you can expect Diane's personal supervision of every aspect of the project, to deliver results on time and on budget. She "lives the job", spending hours on-site working directly with tradesmen and vendors to ensure a perfect result.
